Japan-India Programs
Japan-India Programs
I-House, which has engaged in various exchange activities with India and Indian nationals since its early stages, offers a set of Japan-India exchange programs, including a distinguished visitors’ program, a seminar series on India, and performing arts events.
Japan-India Distinguished Visitors Program
The program invites eminent Indian public figures from various fields who are proposing new values or innovative ideas to change the status quo of society. During their stay for a week, the fellows engage in one public lecture, as well as dialogue and discussions with counterparts and leaders who are tackling similar issues in Japan in their area of expertise. See “Archives” below for the further contents.
Seminar Series On Contemporary India
This series of seven seminars provided participants, mainly business persons working with India, with an opportunity to learn about fast-changing contemporary India from social, historical, political, religious, and philosophical perspectives.
