Makiura Doga
Born in Tokyo in 1993. Left for the United Kingdom at the age of 13 and graduated from Strathallan School in Scotland. In 2012, he set up his first project based in Rwanda. He is also engaged in helping Japanese corporations to expand their business to east Africa and the activities of international educational NGOs. Currently, based in Thailand, he is working on preparations for a new data infrastructure project in Southeast Asia. His other activities include organizing the first drone event in Japan and helping run the world’s first stone bath mist sauna salon “detox salon Le Furo.” Selected as one of TED’s “12 young people in the world” in 2014, he left University Bristol that year.
