API and Mansfield Foundation co-hosts a roundtable

On June 19, 2023, Asia Pacific Initiative (API, API President: Ken Jimbo) co-hosted a roundtable with The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation at the International House of Japan (I-House) in Tokyo.
Participated by a total of more than 30 scholars and researchers including Mansfield-Luce Asia Scholars (Cohort 2), API researchers and guest scholars in the relevant fields, we exchanged and deepened the understanding of the perspectives from Japan and the U.S. on the themes of (1) Geoeconomics, (2) National Security, and (3) Values and International Order.
API is frequently organizing this kind of roundtables for international policy dialogue at the I-House in order to fulfil our mission “to contribute to building a free, open, and sustainable future through intellectual dialogue, policy research, and cultural exchange with a diverse world”.
