API Hosts a Roundtable with Dr. Phillip Lipscy from the University of Toronto / University of Tokyo

On June 30, 2023, Asia Pacific Initiative (API), led by API President Ken Jimbo, hosted a roundtable with Dr. Phillip Lipscy. Dr. Lipscy is professor of political science at the University of Toronto, where he directs the Centre for the Study of Global Japan. He is also professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo.
The event began with a keynote presentation by Dr. Lipscy entitled “The Return of Democratic Volatility: Implications for the International Order”, followed by lively discussions with experts from API.
API frequently organizes roundtables for international policy dialogue as part of our mission to contribute to building a free, open, and sustainable future through intellectual dialogue, policy research, and cultural exchange with a diverse world.
