API Hosts a Roundtable with Dr. Valérie Niquet from French think tank FRS

On June 28, 2023, Asia Pacific Initiative (API), led by API President Ken Jimbo, hosted a roundtable with Dr. Valérie Niquet. Dr. Niquet is Senior Research Fellow and Director of the Japan Program at The Foundation for Strategic Research (FRS), an independent French think tank focusing on international security and defense.
The event began with a keynote presentation by Dr. Niquet titled “Beyond Controversies: What is the French Vision for the Indo-Pacific?”, followed by extensive discussions with experts from API.
API frequently organizes roundtables like this for international policy dialogue as part of our mission to contribute to building a free, open, and sustainable future through intellectual dialogue, policy research, and cultural exchange with a diverse world.
